Transformers Christian Church is a group of enthusiastic people of all ages who love Jesus because He first loved us. We are convinced that nothing is impossible with God and He wants each and every one of us to live a life of joy and victory. We meet every Sunday morning at 9:30am and celebrate His goodness through vibrant worship, insightful teaching & preaching as well as demonstrations of God's presence and the gifts of the Holy Spirit.  For address details click here.

The church was planted in 2013 by Les and Joy Gomes, their two sons, Micah and Joel and a small core group. Joy went to heaven on May 12, 2017 but her legacy lives on through the many lives she touched.

In 2020, the Lord brought a wonderful woman into Les' life - Verena.  The two were married the following year and are inseparable as they faithfully serve in the ministry together. The church continues to flourish under the blessing of God.

Why are we called Transformers Christian Church? Because transformation is God's heart for each and every person on planet earth. God desires that each of us discover the amazing plans He has for us; a plan to be transformed from defeat to victory, from sickness to health, from poverty to abundance, from depression to joy. And the key to transformation is to consider Jesus because when we consider Jesus we will be transformed by the glory of God to become more like Him (2Cor 3:18).

A vision is a preferred future; something we believe God wants us to journey toward.  The following describes what we believe God wants to bring our church into.

Our Vision

We see an army of believers who are working together to make a difference, a new breed of Christians who are filled with hope, walk in love, live by faith, and operate under the rule and reign of the Kingdom of God;

who seek to imitate Christ by serving the needs of others; a people who will do all things with quality, grasping a vision for success and practicing the courage to take risks;

who not only walk in honor and integrity but also refuse to participate in strife, gossip and fault finding, choosing instead to create an atmosphere of unity and encouragement;

a people who are not satisfied with "status quo Christianity", but actively seek to change and grow and above all they Glorify God in all they think, say and do.

Our Vision Statement:

"An army of believers who are filled with hope, walk in love, live by faith and operate under the rule and reign of the Kingdom of God"

Our Mission:

"Transforming lives through relationship with Christ"

OUR VALUES
These are the core values which we will strive to maintain in all that we undertake as followers of Jesus Christ. These attributes display our heart for all to see; they represent the character we wish to possess; they stand as the criteria by which we examine ourselves. All ministry endeavors flowing from our Church should be consistent with these values.

  1. GLORIFY GOD
Our Church glorifies God in every ministry endeavor, individual thought, communication and activity.

  2. GOD’S LOVE & GRACE
Since God’s love and grace are the foundational and underlying causes of the gospel of Christ and the atmosphere of the Kingdom of God, our church demonstrates God’s unconditional love and unearned favour in everything we do.

  3. INTEGRITY & EXCELLENCE
Our Church demonstrates honesty, sincerity, respect, Biblical morality and humility while paying close attention to detail at all levels knowing that integrity and excellence honors God and inspires greatness.

  4. TRANSFORMED LIVES.
Our Church experiences lives being changed and transformed by
    • Encountering the Power & Presence of God.
    • Continual obedience of God's Word.

  5. KINGDOM LIVING
Our Church teaches the rights, responsibilities and rewards of living subject to the Kingdom of God.

  6. LIFESTYLE OF FAITH
In order to reap the benefits of every area of Christian living our church imparts faith as a lifestyle and not just as a component.

  7. DISCIPLESHIP
Since discipleship is the most effective way of reproducing believers who live by faith, our church continually makes disciples.

  8. SERVANTHOOD
Our Church is a community of believers who seek to imitate Christ by serving the needs of others.

  9. TEAM MINISTRY
Our church is made up of individual believers who work in unison as a team to fulfill all that God has called us to do.

  10. ATMOSPHERE OF UNITY
Our church creates an atmosphere of unity, edification and encouragement and refuses to be a part of strife, gossip & fault finding.

Our LogoOur logo comes from our vision and our five purposes.

Our five purposes are

The following statements summarize our beliefs on some of the major areas of Christian doctrine. It is not a complete or exhaustive list of what we believe. These are given to indicate that we are Bible believing Christians. Listening to our audio files will give you a much greater understanding of what we believe.

THE ETERNAL GODHEAD:
We believe in the Unity of the True and living God who is the Eternal, Self-Existent One, who has revealed himself as One Being in three persons - Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and who is the Creator and preserver of things visible and invisible.
Deut. 6:4, Mark 12:29; Matt. 28:19, Genesis 1:1: Psalm 86:9 - 10; Isaiah 43:10 - 11, John l: l - 3.

THE LORD JESUS CHRIST:
We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, the second Person of the 'Triune Godhead', who was and is the eternal Son of God; that He became incarnate by the Holy Spirit and was born of the virgin Mary.

We believe in his sinless life, miraculous ministry, substitutionary atoning death, bodily resurrection, glorious ascension, and abiding intercession.
Isaiah 7:14 ; Matt. 1:23; Heb 7:26; 1 Peter 2:22 Acts 2:22; 10:38; 2 Cor. 5:21; Heb. 9:12; Luke 24:39; 1 Cor. 15:4; Acts 1:9; Eph. 4: 8 - 10; Rom. 8:34; Heb. 7:25.

THE HOLY SPIRIT.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Third Person of the Triune Godhead, who proceeds from the Father and the Son, and is ever present and active in the work of convicting and regenerating the sinner, and sanctifying and guiding the believer into all truth.
John 14:26; John 16:8-11, 1 Peter1:2, Rom. 8:14.

THE WORD OF GOD
We believe in the verbal, plenary inspiration of the Holy Scriptures, in their original writings. All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is infallible, inerrantly revealing the will of God concerning things necessary to our life and godliness.
Matt. 5:17,18; 24:35; John 4:39; 2 Tim. 3:16,17; 2 Peter 1:3-4, 19 - 21.

THE FALL OF MAN.
We believe that man was created by God in His image and likeness by specific immediate act, morally upright, perfect and enjoying dominion over the earth and all in it but fell by voluntary transgression. Consequently, all men by voluntary transgression are separated from original righteousness, and thus lack spiritual life.
Gen.1:26-31; 3:1-7; Rom. 5:12-21

SALVATION OF MAN
We believe salvation is received through repentance toward God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. This experience is also known as the New Birth and is an instantaneous and complete operation of the Holy Spirit whereupon the believing sinner is regenerated, justified, and adopted into the family of God and becomes a new creation in Christ Jesus, and heir of eternal life.
Titus 2: 11: 3: 5 - 7; 1 Peter 1: 23; 1 John 5: 1

THE BAPTISM IN THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe the baptism in the Holy Spirit is an experience subsequent to salvation in which Jesus completely immerses the believer in the Holy Spirit resulting in the initial physical evidence of speaking in other tongues. The purpose of the experience is to bestow the believer with power to be an effective witness for Christ. This experience is distinct from and subsequent to the New Birth; is received by faith.
Luke 24: 29; Acts 1:1-8; Acts 2:1-4; 8:15-19; 11:14-17; 19:1-7.

PROSPERITY
We believe that believers glorify God by being fruitful in the things they do. Consequently, God desires and delights in the prosperity of all His children in every arena of human life- spiritually, emotionally, intellectually, physically, financially, socially, vocationally etc...., as long as it does not violate His laws or the rights of other men according to His Word. This prosperity has been provided for us by Christ's atoning work and may be received by faith. Psalm 35:27; Deut 28:1-11; Ps 1:1-3; John 15:8; Col. 1:10; 2Cor 8:9; 3 John 2.

DIVINE HEALING
We believe that Divine healing for the body, has been provided for us by the atoning death and victorious resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ; it is the privilege of all believers and it is appropriated by faith in our Heavenly Father's unfailing promises.
Ex.15:26; Isa.53:4; Matt.8:16,17; 1Peter 2:22; Psa.103:3; James.5:14,15; Mark16:17,18.

THE CHURCH
The Church is the body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Spirit, with divine appointments for the fulfilment of her great commission to preach the complete gospel throughout the world. Every believer, born of the Spirit, is an integral part of the Church.
Eph. 1:22,23; 2:22; Heb.12:23.

THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST.
We believe in the personal return of our Lord Jesus Christ to gather His people unto Himself. Having this glorious hope and earnest expectation, we purify ourselves, even as He is pure, so that we may be ready to meet Him when He comes.
John 14:1-3; James 5:7,8; Titus 2:13; 1Thess.4:15-17; 2Thess.2:1; 1John 2:28; 3:2-3.
